My true home - english
My true home                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      When I look at my true home, I see gardens there. Beautifully laid out. Large rhododendron bushes in vivid colours, nestled amongst tall, ancient trees. In the sunshine, rose bushes glow in brilliant red and delicate cream-white; a small rose tree stands too, its yellow blossoms set against a sea of lavender. It exudes a scent all of its own.

Groves where many animals make their home.

Forests too. A coniferous forest in deep green, where it is pleasantly cool. The air smells wonderfully of fir. A deciduous forest that conveys light and airiness. The light glitters through the branches. Linden trees are in bloom and also enchant with their lovely scent. Everything is connected and everything interacts. The many living creatures and ecosystems are in perfect harmony with each other.

There is also a lake.                                                                                                                                     The light is reflected and the gentle waves rock a boat softly in the wind. Two people are enjoying themselves.

People are present too. In their very clean houses. They meet under a lime tree and chat. Their conversations are calm and relaxed, just like here on Earth after a day’s work over a sundowner. Warm and friendly. Children are playing in nature. The atmosphere is light and cheerful.

There are also meadows. Many flowers delight with their variety. Butterflies dance in the air. Bees buzz and birds tell their stories. It is pure joy to listen to them.
Other animals appear: deer, hares, and creatures unknown here on Earth. None of them are shy; they are trusting and playful. Even moles keep poking their noses out of their mounds to see what’s happening in the light.

And everywhere, respect. Respect for the essence of the other.
